The new GE Monogram Design Center is a gorgeous cooking studio launched last month to celebrate the love of culinary arts and design.
Geoff Cape – CEO of Evergreen Brick Works, Top Chef Carl Heinrich of Richmond Station, Gayle Gnat of Homemaker are just some of the big players of this new initiative to promote the idea of a more innovative and styled culinary landscape. The vision of a highly-aesthetic space for cooking will allow food lovers to experience food using all 5 senses: Sight, Smell, Sound, Touch, and Taste.

The house consists of 2 floors with a very homey feel on the main floor (the Brooklyn Kitchen), and a more contemporary interior for the second floor (the Forest Hill Kitchen). Both were beautiful but my cup of tea for kitchen inspiration would definitely be the second-level. Also, my favourite spot in the place was the light installation at the top of the spiral staircase.
