COCKTAIL: Blackberry Temptation

Vodka makes for a fantastic base in cocktail recipes. Instead of building around the spirit like your would for other spirits, like gin, you can mix whatever you like and just dress it up with Russia’s favourite alcohol.
Case in point, The Blackberry Temptation. I love, love blackberries. They’re tangy, sweet and the colour is just gorgeous. Pair this lovely fruit with the simplicity of vodka and you’ll have yourself a beautiful cocktail for any occasion.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 oz of Vodka
- .5 oz of Cassis
- 6 Blackberries
- Splash of Lemon juice
- Ice
METHOD:
In a shaker, muddle 3 blackberries and vodka. Add the rest of the ingredients with ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Double-strain into a martini glass. Garnish with skewer of blackberries.
