Exploring Junction Flea

After visiting the Brooklyn Flea Market the last time I was in NYC, I was hooked. Imagine my delight when I discovered that we have something very similar in Toronto, namely the monthly Junction Flea! Held on the second Sunday of every month, the Junction Flea features over 70+ select independent vendors selling antiques, handmade craft+design, food, vintage clothing, records and more. With multiple levels and vendors to be discovered at every nook and cranny, it was like a treasure hunt!

I ventured off one Sunday afternoon with my friends Madhu and Hiral to scope out the scene, and had an awesome time exploring the different vendors, chatting up the merchants and scoring some good finds! This was one of their last indoor fleas, and now they’ve officially moved outdoors for the new season!

Also, what better excuse to get some outfit shots in on a gorgeous spring day? More after the jump!

After a long, lazy afternoon of walking around, it was time for some foodie eats! We stopped by Parkette and was pleasantly surprised by their half-price pizza special. Loved it, and will definitely go back!

The Junction Flea will fall on the remaining dates this year so be sure to check them out! For only $5 (entry fee), you can spend a few good hours there and shop to your heart’s content. Can’t wait to check them out at their outdoor market!
